Are there any charities that can help us if we are short on money for rent?

Yes, there is a lot of charities that assist tenants with rent payments when they are suffering temporary financial hardship.

Please note that we cannot delay eviction filings if money is not received by the deadline. It is very important that you contact the charity as soon as possible and make sure they understand that we need the money in hand prior to the eviction filing deadline. We cannot delay just because a charity is promising to send money.

Here is a list of possible organizations who may be able to help you. We do not have any affiliation with any of these companies, nor can we guarantee they can help. We just wanted to pass their info along.
